Bear Market
A bear market refers to a market condition where general sentiment is that prices will go down. Being “bearish” on something means that an individual believes that the price of a commodity, equity, option, or other market-driven assets – including Bitcoin – will go down.
The etymology of the phrase bear market comes from the way that a bear claws from top to down.
